Write for Us: guest post guidelines

Open to riders, mechanics, commuters and people who work in the e-mobility trade.

We publish practical, well-researched articles for people who ride, or are thinking about riding, e-bikes and e-scooters in the UK. If you have real experience to share, we would like to hear from you.

Topics we accept

  • E-bikes: commuting, folding, cargo, conversion kits, maintenance and upgrades that stay road-legal
  • E-scooters: ownership, rental schemes, safety and the legal position
  • Batteries and motors: charging safety, storage, range, cell types, hub versus mid-drive
  • UK rules and safety: EAPC regulations, insurance, security and theft prevention, riding in traffic
  • Buying guides: importing, warranties, spares, second-hand buying, cycle-to-work schemes
  • Commuting: routes, kit, bike-and-train journeys, winter riding

What we look for

  • Length: 900 to 2,000 words. Longer is fine if every section earns its place.
  • Original: unpublished anywhere else, including your own site. No AI-spun or rewritten content.
  • UK-focused: UK spelling, UK law, prices in pounds, distances in miles.
  • Useful: clear H2 subheadings, short paragraphs, specific advice. Cite official sources (GOV.UK, fire service guidance, manufacturers) for facts.
  • Accurate on the law: nothing that encourages de-restricting, unlocking or riding non-compliant vehicles on public roads.
  • Images: optional. Only send images you own or have the right to use, with credit details.

Link policy

  • Up to 1 to 2 dofollow links to your own site, placed naturally in the body or author bio.
  • Links must be relevant to the article and point to a genuinely useful page.
  • Additional links to authoritative sources are welcome and encouraged.
  • We may edit, add rel="nofollow" or rel="sponsored" to, or remove any link at our discretion.

What we do not accept

  • Casino, gambling or betting content or links
  • Adult content
  • CBD, cannabis or vaping products
  • Pharmaceuticals, supplements or medical claims
  • Loans, crypto or get-rich schemes
  • Pure product adverts or press releases dressed as articles

How to pitch

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line Guest post pitch.
  2. Include a working title, which board it fits (E-bikes, E-scooters, Batteries & Motors, UK Rules & Safety or Buying Guides), a 3 to 5 point outline, and a line about your experience.
  3. If we like the idea, send the finished article as a Google Doc or Word file.

We edit every piece for clarity, accuracy and house style, and we will send you the link once it is live. Publication is not guaranteed.
